With this year coming to an end, fashions have gone in and out, like usual. Raina Belts goal is to make timeless pieces of waist jewelry. The great thing about belts is they can go with everything -- spice up a dress, sweater or simply to loop through belt holes. Our spring 2014 belts are fun and flirty and we can't wait to share them with all of you. On that note, here is a sneak peak to two of our new belts. DREAM BIG

When I started Raina Belts in 2004, I never dreamed I would still be doing what I love 9 years later.

I remember walking into stores to try to sell my belts, and being turned down as soon as I took out my first sample. I was a true new comer to the fashion industry. When a buyer asked me for a line sheet I had idea what she was talking about.

 When designing my collection I would always pick up a Vogue magazine and only dreamed of one day being in that magazine. I would always wonder how the big names in fashion made it ...How did they start? What was the key to breaking into the fashion world?

I remember a particular buyer told me that my belt line would never sell, that people were looking for simple belts to go into their belt loops and that's about it.

This is when I decided that I was going to follow my heart and keep doing what I was doing. There would be times I would do a show and the only people who came into my booth were the people who wanted the free candy we were offering.

About a month ago I found out that an amazing stylist had taken notice of my collection and thought the hardware was “just amazing”  ... So amazing that she used it in.... Wait for this......
Vogue Italia! Yes the most amazing fashion magazine there is. A fashion bible!

If I never sell another belt ever, I can honestly say I have hit my biggest accomplishment!

For all the people who aspire to start their own business ... Please don't let anyone discourage you from your dream.
